HERE IS WHAT ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (CHAT GPT 4o) HAS TO SAY ABOUT THE EXPLOSION AT TEMPI

 Two years after the terrible collision of the trains at Tempi we the Greek people are still waiting for clear, accurate and fair answers on a broad range of haunting questions. Last Sunday in a massive demonstration in Athens and several other cities and towns of the land the people raised once more their pained, angered, voices, desperate for transparency and justice. The opposition parties are having a field day, but it is my opinion this is a moment in our national history that is well above and beyond petty party politics. It is a national tragedy and it should be treated with the thoroughness, transparency, restraint, honesty and respect demanded by the scale and seriousness of this calamitous disaster  by all parties involved, both private and public.

Since no answers are forthcoming from the proper authorities nearly two years after the fact  I resorted to AI.

The question I put to chat GPT 4o was this: 

"Can you analyze the emission spectrum of the explosion from frames of the video published in the Internet and idetify the substance or substances that caused the explosion? "

To my surprise, the AI engine answered "Yes", and provided the limitations of the validity of the answers concerning the quality of the image, the fact that no spectrometer was attached to the camera etc. 

I asked about the presence of aromatic hydrocarbons and military propellants such as hydrazine, a fuel used among other applications, in jet fighters (F16 Falcons) to provide emergency power. 

However, the AI engine kept coming back about the presence of metallic oxidizers and hypergolic fuels.

I didn't know what a "hypergolic fuel" was and the answer blew me away:

I came back the next day and asked specifically if xylene or toluene were responsible for the explosion.

The AI engine reports that it is probable that xylene or toluene or both may have been present but these substances are probably NOT the PRIMARY cause of the explosion. It insists that it is more likely that a hypergolic fuel of some sort was the primary cause, including metallic oxidizers.
